Volado
The lowest leaves of the tobacco plant — thin and mild, but with excellent combustion properties.
Volado grows at the very bottom of the plant, in the shade of the upper leaves: thin, mild leaves with little aroma but outstanding combustion properties — in the filler they keep the ember alive. Only the combination with the aromatic Seco and the powerful Ligero produces a cigar that burns evenly while also showing character. The ratio of the three leaf positions is determined by the ligada.
