Torpedo
A figurado with a straight body and a pointed head.
The torpedo belongs to the figurado family: the body remains straight and only the head tapers to a point. The point concentrates the smoke, and the height of the cut determines how wide the draw opens — a degree of control that straight formats do not offer. When the whole cigar tapers continuously, the shape is called a pyramide; the shorter, rounder taper belongs to the belicoso.
