Toro
A straight format of around 15.2 cm at ring gauge 50 — the elongated sibling of the robusto.
The toro measures 15.2 cm (6 inches) at ring gauge 50 and has established itself alongside the shorter robusto as the standard format of the New World. The thick dimensions allow it to draw coolly and foreground the filler blend, while the extra length extends the session accordingly. Like all straight formats, the toro belongs to the family of parejos.
