Seco
The middle leaves of the tobacco plant — the most aromatic part and the backbone of many blends.
Seco grows in the mid-section of the plant, between the mild Volado below and the powerful Ligero at the top. The leaves combine aroma with good combustion properties and therefore form the backbone of most filler blends. How much Seco goes into a cigar is determined by the ligada — the blender’s blend formula.
