Churchill (format)
A long, straight format of around 17.8 cm at ring gauge 47 — named after Winston Churchill.
The Cuban original is the vitola Julieta No. 2 — 17.8 cm (7 inches), ring gauge 47 — which Romeo y Julieta named “Churchill” in honour of their most celebrated customer. Today many brands offer Churchill formats, some with a ring gauge up to 50. The length promises a long, coolly combusting smoke and makes the format a classic for the grand evening — the double corona is even more generously dimensioned.
