Boxpressed
A cigar with a roughly square cross-section, its angular shape obtained through pressing.
The shape originally arose incidentally: cigars packed tightly into boxes pressed against each other during storage and became angular. Today boxpressed cigars are made deliberately — they are pressed in moulds or densely stacked boxes after rolling. Admirers value not only the appearance but also the comfortable resting against the lips and a tendency towards a slower, cooler burn.
