Blender
The person who composes the tobacco blend of a cigar — from the filler through to the wrapper.
The blender — often called Master Blender — decides which tobaccos from which harvests, priming positions, and countries go into a cigar. He composes the filler, binder, and wrapper so that strength, flavours, and burn remain reproducible over the years. While the torcedor is responsible for the craft, the blender shapes the character of a brand.
