Añejados

Since 2015, Habanos has released cigars under the name Añejados (“aged”) that rested in Cuba for five to eight years after rolling — box ageing done at source rather than in your own humidor. They are recognisable by a second band reading “Añejados”; the underside of the box carries the rolling date and the stamp “Revisado” (“checked”), because every box was opened and its cigars inspected one by one before sale. The line opened in 2015 with a Montecristo Churchill and a Romeo y Julieta Pirámide.
