Toreo

Toreo is the project of two brothers whose path to the cigar began, according to the house, in 1998 — with the discovery that great tobacco does not come from Cuba alone. Over years they travelled the growing regions of Central America, acquiring knowledge of cultivation, fermentation and blending before launching cigars under their own name.

From the beginning the cigars have been produced at two respected houses: Plasencia in Nicaragua and Quesada in the Dominican Republic — partnerships that continue to this day; the second generation is now active in the business. The range divides into the series Oro del Mundo (Clasico and Noir), Nicaragua, and Sabor with Connecticut, Corojo and Rosado wrappers.

The publicly available sources do not yield more at present — Toreo remains a small, specialist-trade-oriented project.
