La Bucanera
La Bucanera — “the buccaneer” — is a sub-line of ADV & McKay Cigars Co. that carries the seafaring narrative of the parent brand ADVentura into Nicaragua. Production lies with the manufactory Mombacho; the filler unites tobaccos from the three great Nicaraguan growing regions of Estelí, Condega and Jalapa, complemented by a binder from Jalapa; the wrapper is an Ecuadorian H-2000.
While the parent brand’s core lines are produced in the Dominican Republic, La Bucanera deliberately showcases the more powerful Nicaraguan terroir — the same brand world, a different country, a different character.
